Auckland. The largest city in New Zealand, and positively full of thing to do, in Auckland you’ll find volcanoes and lengths of beautiful coastline, while in the city centre you’ll find a bright skyline with the neon Sky Tower forming the centre piece. The streets within the inner-city suburbs are a great place to get under Auckland’s skin and it’s here that you should take a break to indulge in an infamous Auckland coffee. Afterwards take an evening stroll on the Devonport beach for the most perfect views of the Auckland city skyline.
Taupo. Situated on the banks of Lake Taupo, the town of Taupo is quite simply beautiful. We enjoy strolling the banks of the lake, watching the sun set and casting the peaks of the Tongariro National Park into stark shadows but the real highlight here is the Orakei Korako Cave and Thermal Park which is notable for its enticing collection of hot pools and incredible caves.
