Elephant trekking in Thailand
Elephant trekking is part and parcel of any trip to Thailand - you can find them all over the country, but the best places are in the north, where the elephants live in protected habitats, and you can ride them through peaceful jungle terrain and clear mountain lakes. The Chiang Mai Elephant conservation centre is a nice place to start.
