Day By Day Itinerary
DAY 1 UK – RIO DE JANERIO
Fly to Rio De Janerio .On arrival you will be welcomed and transferred to hotel Golden Tulip Regente.
DAY 2 RIO DE JANERIO (B/L/D)
Visit the most famous landmarks of the Rio city. After a scenic drive along Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, passengers arrive at the bottom of the Corcovado Hill. We will embark on a comfortable train which will climb the mountain, where the statue of Christ the Redeemer, is located (2.300ft above sea level). Upon arrival at the top we have mechanized access, with panoramic elevators and escalators that take us to the foot of the statute. We make our way down on the same route and towards the other world famous landmark, the Sugar Loaf Mountain.Rising up from small peninsula at the entrance of Guanabara Bay, its name is said to refer to its resemblance to the traditional shape of concentrated refined sugar loaf. The tour is done in two steps by glass cable-cars. The first cable-car takes passengers to the top of Urca Hill, which rises 215 meters above sea level and offers spectacular views of the entire bay its islands. From Urca Hill, passengers continue in a second cable car to the top of Sugar Loaf which rises395 metersabove sea level and offers a 360 degree view of the entire city including Botafogo and Copacabana Beaches, the Corcovado and downtown Rio.
DAY 3 TIJUCA NATIONAL PARK (B/D)
Experience the world’s largest urban forest through an open-top Jeep ride and relaxed hike that afford close-up views of wild animals and plants. Ride through Tijuca National Park’s rainforest in an open-top Jeep during this half-day trip from Rio. During the Jeep tour, stop at Vista Chinesa for panoramic views of Copacabana, Ipanema and Guanabara Bay. Look for sloths, monkeys, butterflies and birds. Make stops at Mayrink Chapel and Emperor’s Table.
DAY 4 ANGRA DOS REIS (B/L/D)
Enjoy a visit to Angra dos Reis, the town in the heart of an archipelago with more than 300 islands and countless beaches. The town of Angra lies in the heart of this paradise, some 130 km south of Rio. This spectacular view winds over mountainous terrain covered in lush Atlantic rainforest. Graceful coves and sandy beaches, little islands and crystal clear water make the journey a memorable occasion. The town of Angra dos Reis has been continuously settled since the early 1500’s. There are many lovely old buildings from the colonial past when the town was a great port and agricultural center. A saveiro schooner waits at the dock to take visitors on a cruise of those many islands, stopping for a swim in the enticing turquoise blue waters.
DAY 5 RIO DE JANERIO – IGUASSU FALLS (B/D)
Fly to Iguassu falls. On arrival you will be welcomed and transferred to hotel Sheraton .
DAY 6 IGUASSU FALLS (B/D)
Tour the Argentina side of Iguassu Falls, you will be escorted to the Visitor’s Centre in the National Park. Here board a gas-propelled train which will take you to the footbridges and paths which make up the ‘Upper Circuit’ of the Falls. There is a walk of around one hour to the lower circuit, this visit will last approximately one and half hours. Returning to the upper circuit, board the train for ‘Devil’s Throat’. Once you are at the end of the footpath you will be surprised by the strategic lookout point resting on the side of the Devil’s Throat. Finally comes a jungle truck ride and a high speed boat run to add adrenaline and emotions to this amazing tour.
DAY 7 IGUASSU FALLS (B/D)
We Head for Iguassu Falls Brazilian side, located 20kms from the border between Argentina and Brazil. First you will be escorted to the Visitor’s Centre in the National Park. This Centre has excellent photographs and a fantastic exhibition of the Falls as well as a souvenir shop. Continue inside the National Park, along a paved road for a 10km ride that will take you to the Falls. Here you have a walking tour along the catwalk measuring 1km of easy hike. Along this trek, there are several gorgeous panoramic views of the Falls and at the end of the catwalk there is a fantastic close-up encounter with Devil’s Throat and the main waterfalls. Finally, take the panoramic elevator to the upper part of Iguazu Falls, here you will follow a track towards the Espaco Porto Canoas (The Port Canoas Space) and enjoy the spectacular views from the upper Iguazu River.
DAY 8 IGUASSU FALLS – MANAUS (B/D)
On arrival Manaus you will be welcomed and check In at Amazon Eco Park lodge .Manaus – Capital of Amazonas, the largest state in Brazil, is a modern city. It is also the ideal point of departure for visiting the rest of the Amazon region . After dinner , Depart lodge in paddle or motorized canoes, to appreciate the sounds of the jungle at night, with the possibility to spot small alligators (or other nightly creatures). Alligators are spotted because their eyes shine like small red lights, once the alligator is spotted by the guide spotlight, the guide will try to catch a small alligator with his own hands and bring it on to the canoe, and a brief explanation of their habitat follows. The alligator will then be safely release back to the river. (No harm is done to any of the animals)
DAY 9 MANAUS (B/L/D)
Take a boat drive down the Negro River , navigating along the shore of the City of Manaus, allowing passengers to view the Amazonas Theater , the Port of Manaus, the Customs and the interesting aspects of the local life – the houses type stilts . Arrival at The Meeting of the Waters, Itt´s a spectacular junction of Negro and Solimões Rivers .From this point on both rivers form the famous Amazon River that runs all the way to the Atlantic Ocean. The waters of the two rivers run together for about 12kms, side by side, without mixing. The phenomenon happens due to differences in temperature, density and speed of the waters of the riversContinue the trip on the Amazon River to the Island of ” Terra Nova “.Evening return to the lodge
DAY 10 MANAUS (B/L/D)
After breakfast ,Depart the lodge in paddle or motorized canoes, accompanied by a Bilingual guide to learn about the traditions and customs of local Amazonians (“natives”).Duration: it may vary according to the place visited / “low water level seasons” closest to the Lodge; “high water level season” distant communities can be visited.
DAY 11 MANAUS – SALVADOR (B/D)
Fly to Salvador. On arrival check in at hotel Bahia othon Palace.
DAY 12 SALVADOR (B/D)
After breakfast take a historical City tour: It begins at Barra’s lighthouse, geographic limit between All Saints Bay and Atlantic Ocean (stop), Santo Antônio da Barra Church, Vitória Square and Vitória Church, Carlos Costa Pinto Museum, Dois de Julho Square, Castro Alves Theater, São Pedro Fort, Aclamação Palace, Mercês Church and College, Piedade Square, Castro Alves Square, D’Ajuda street and Church, Sé Square, Terreiro de Jesus, Basílica Cathedral, Ordem Terceira de São Francisco Church (stop), Pelourinho Square, Nossa Senhora do Rosário dos Pretos Church (stop), return to the hotel.
DAY 13 SALVADOR (B/L/D)
Discover the “Brazilian Polynesia,” the beach are of Praia do Forte, on this full-day trip from Salvador. Soak up the sun, sand and tropical scenery on this gorgeous 7.5-mile (12km) beach before visiting the Tamar Project, a sea turtle conservation organization.
DAY 14 SALVADOR (B/D)
After breakfast the day is free for your own leisure to relax on the beach .

DAY 16 SALVADOR – UK (B)
Morning at leisure .Evening transfer to Salvador airport to fly back home.
