Witness the Majesty of Hubbard Glacier, Alaska

Hubbard Glacier

Hubbard Glacier, located in eastern Alaska near Yakutat Bay, is North America's largest tidewater glacier and one of nature's most incredible wonders. Hubbard is over 76 miles long and 7 miles wide at its face and is known for its spectacular ice calving (huge pieces of ice break off and tumble into the sea with a deafening roar). Most people visit Hubbard by cruise ship, which enables them to observe beautiful blue ice, snow-capped mountains, and wildlife — seals and even bald eagles (amongst others). It is one of the more memorable experiences of any Alaskan cruise.
