Visitors can enjoy guided spice tours, encounter rare wildlife, and immerse themselves in the vibrant local culture. Along the coastline, pristine beaches provide the perfect setting to unwind, while the clear turquoise waters invite you to enjoy snorkeling, diving, and dolphin watching. Sunset dhow cruises add a magical touch to the experience, offering stunning views across the Indian Ocean. Whether you are looking for adventure, cultural discovery, or a peaceful beach escape, Zanzibar promises a diverse range of activities that create unforgettable and enriching travel memories.
Zanzibar has an eclectic cultural calendar of festivals and music events but our favourite os the Zanzibar Cultural Festival, which takes place annually towards the end of July around Stone Town.
Nungwi Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Zanzibar and a great place to visit during your Tanzania holiday. It sits on the north tip of the island of Zanzibar, and is renowned for its soft white sand and clear blue sea. Unlike most beaches in Zanzibar the water stays deep for most of the day so you can have a swim whenever you want.
