Day by Day Tour Itinerary
Day 1
UK – GUATEMALA – ANTIGUA

Fly to Guatemala and transfer to Antigua, and check in at the hotel Porta Antigua.

Day 2
ANTIGUA (B)

Antigua is a small colonial city surrounded by mountains in the southern part of Guatemala. Founded in the 1500s by Spanish colonials, this beautiful city is famous for its charming colonial buildings, Baroque-style architecture, welcoming atmosphere, and vibrant culture. Antigua was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.

ANTIGUA – LAKE ATITLAN (B)

We drive through the small Mayan villages and delve into the local arts, history, and customs of Guatemala's indigenous people. Admire Atitlan's serene blue waters and watch the incredible sunset behind the volcanic mountains. On arrival, check in at the hotel Atitlan.

LAKE ATITLAN (B)

Sail on a boat tour, we explore lakeside Maya villages, and we hike through Atitlán Natural Reserve. Lake Atitlan is the deepest in Central America - it's actually a crater formed by a massive volcanic eruption thousands of years ago.

LAKE ATITLAN (B)

Free day to relax and absorb the tranquillity and scenic views at Lake Atitlan. 

Day 6
LAKE ATITLAN – TIKAL (B)

Morning transfer to Guatemala City for your quick domestic flight to Flores, gateway to Tikal. On arrival, check in at the hotel Camino Real Tikal.

TIKAL (B)

Today spend most of the day exploring the ancient Mayan temples and palaces set deep in the jungle at Tikal. From this UNESCO World Heritage Site, we understand Maya architecture, Mayan power and influence, featuring evidence of sophisticated urban planning. Keep an eye out for some of the fascinating wildlife, such as monkeys and toucans.

TIKAL (B)

Early morning, we leave for a bird watching tour to spot different species of birds that appear in the national park. The tour could start from 6 am in the park, and the duration is around 4 to 7 hours, depending on the development of the same.

TIKAL – CAYO DISTRICT (B)

Morning transfer to the Cayo District and check in at the hotel Kaana Resort and Spa.

Day 10
CAYO DISTRICT (B)

Explore the lodge and the surrounding area at leisure. The lodge is surrounded by some of the world’s most fascinating biodiversity, and you’ll find plenty of chances to spot amazing flora and fauna on the trails surrounding.

 

Day 11
CAYO DISTRICT (B)

Today, we are taking a trip to see Caracol – Belize’s largest and most famous Maya site. Climb to the summit of its highest pyramid, towering 140 feet above the jungle, for amazing views. For a touch of adventure, go kayaking through the Barton Creek Cave system and explore the underground passages and geological formations.

Day 12
CAYO DISTRICT – AMBERGRIS CAYE (B)

Transfer by road back to Belize City, where you will take a light aircraft flight to Ambergris Caye and check in at the hotel Ramons Village Resort.

 

Day 13
AMBERGRIS CAYE (B

Today is the perfect place for exploring Belize’s wonderful marine world. Then explored the marine area. Snorkel amongst nurse sharks and stingrays, and spot manatees and countless types of fish.

Day 14
AMBERGRIS CAYE – BELIZE CITY – UK (B)

Transfer to Belize city airport to board your flight to UK.
