DAY 1 UK – CAPE TOWN

DAY 2 CAPE TOWN
On arrival Cape Town you will be welcomed and transferred to hotel Strand Tower.
DAY 3 CAPE TOWN (B)
Experience the scenic beauty and natural landscapes of South Africa’s Cape Peninsula on this full-day tour of Cape Town. This tour encapsulates the best that the Cape has to offer – magnificent beaches, breathtaking views, historic & picturesque coastal villages, superb mountain ranges, vineyards and Cape Dutch homesteads are to be seen along the way.sYour return trip to Cape Town even includes a stop at the colorful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
DAY 4 CAPE TOWN (B)
Half day Table Mountain & City Tour. See the best of Cape Town including a trip to the top of Table Mountain and a minibus tour of the city’s highlights during this half-day tour. Survey the city from Table Mountain, ride the cable car back down and then see Cape Town’s main sights from your minibus. See places such as the Diamond Works and the Malay Quarter on Signal Hill Then to the City Hall on the Grand Parade and later a visit to the Castle. Enter the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront that abounds with shops, pubs, restaurants and entertainment.
DAY 5 CAPE TOWN – STELLENBOSCH – CAPE TOWN (B)
Full Day Cape Winelands Tour. This delightful drive winds its way to the heart of the Cape Winelands, through superb mountain ranges, vineyards and Cape Dutch homesteads. Head off to the wine-country to one of the Cape’s first farming districts-Paarl. the town is set at the foot of the cluster of remarkable granite domes from which it takes its name. Our first stop of the morning is the picturesque Seidelberg Wine Estate. We enjoy a wine tasting at one of the numerous wine estates in the area, before taking time to enjoy time for lunch at one of the many award winning restaurants. Onward to Stellenbosch, via the scenic Helshoogte Pass, the heart of the South African wine industry boasting great beauty and culture that is steeped in South African history.
DAY 6 CAPE TOWN – OUDTSHOORN (B/D)
After breakfast we depart to Oudtshoorn – the “Feather Capital of the world”, here we shall stop for a brief guidedtour of the Ostrich farm. Followed by check-in at De Opstal County Lodge
DAY 7 OUDTSHOORN – KNYSNA (B/D)
After breakfast, Enjoy a morning tour of the Cango caves. Continue to the lagoon side town of Knysna – the Gem of the Garden route. Weather permitting, we shall embark on an adventurous cruise on board the Three Legs Rivercat, which will take us to the Knysna Heads. Upon return to the mainland, we continue our journey to Plettenberg Bay, check in at Protea Hotel Knysna Quays
DAY 8 KNYSNA (B/D)
After breakfast, get up close and personal with nature at the Knysna Elephant Park. This visit will give you an opportunity to touch, feed and take photos with these gentle giants. After lunch (client’s own account), visit the Birds of Eden, which are the largest free-flight aviary in the world. Return to the lodge in the early evening for dinner and overnight accommodation. DAY 9 KNYSNA – PORT ELIZABETH – JOHANNESBURG (B)
After breakfast our journey along the final leg of the Garden route to the beautiful Tsitsikamma National Park and enjoy a walk along the suspension bridge which offers a beautiful view of the Storms river mouth gorge. DAY 10 JOHANNESBURG (B/D)
Take a trip to Soweto, southern Africa’s biggest city, to discover more about the history of apartheid Africa.Soweto is a sprawling township, or more accurately a cluster of townships on the south-western flank of Johannesburg. In the 1950’s, more black people were relocated there from ‘black spots’ in the inner city – black neighbourhoods which the apartheid government had reserved for whites. With a population of over 2 million, the township is the biggest black urban settlement in Africa with a rich political history. with the election of Nelson Mandela, the prisoner who became president, is a climax in the saga of a nation’s resistance, courage and fortitude. The museum is a beacon of hope showing the world how South Africa is coming to terms with its oppressive past and working towards a future that all South Africans can call their own.
DAY 11 JOHANNESBURG – SUN CITY – JOHANNESBURG (B/D)
Full day Sun City tour. We travel by road to the Sun City Resort Complex – a millionaire’s playground which lies in an age-old bushveld valley in the North-West province. This unique resort offers a huge range of restaurants, sports, leisure activities, golf, wonderful entertainment and gaming. The resort also houses The Valley of Waves, which is the master of recreational water-parks in the world – a pleasure Kingdom for thrill seekers. There are four world-class hotels including the magnificent Palace of the Lost City that glitters like a jewel beneath the African sun, brilliant in its rain forest surroundings and luxurious in its detail and design. We will return to the city in the late afternoon.
DAY 12 JOHANNESBURG – PILANESBERG NATIONAL PARK – JOHANNESBURG (B/D)
Full day Pilanesberg National Park – one of the largest in South Africa. The park covers an area of 55 000-hectares and its plains are rich and fertile as they were once part of a now extinct volcanic crater. Majestic hills encircle the park and a large central watering hole is ideal for game viewing. Pilanesberg National Park is home to all of the Big Five and other large game including giraffe, hippo, zebra and crocodile, as well as an extreme diversity of birdlife (over 300 species have been recorded)
DAY 13 JOHANNESBURG – UK (B)
