Today spend most of the day exploring the ancient Mayan temples and palaces set deep in the jungle at Tikal. From this UNESCO World Heritage Site, we understand Maya architecture, Mayan power and influence, featuring evidence of sophisticated urban planning. Keep an eye out for some of the fascinating wildlife, such as monkeys and toucans.
Early morning, we leave for a bird watching tour to spot different species of birds that appear in the national park. The tour could start from 6 am in the park, and the duration is around 4 to 7 hours, depending on the development of the same.
