Day By Day Itinerary
DAY 1 UK – NAIROBI
Fly to Nairobi.
DAY 2 NAIROBI
On arrival Nairobi you will be welcomed and transferred to hotel The Stanley. Then the day is free for your own leisure and other shopping activities.
DAY 3 NAIROBI (B)
After breakfast we leave for Nairobi national park, Approximately 8 kilometres from the city centre, we enter the Nairobi National Park to view a variety of game including lions, cheetahs, buffalo, impala, giraffes and ostriches, roaming in untouched savannah and indigenous forest. The 117 sq km park is unique by being the only protected area in the world with a variety of animals and birds close to a major city. It has a diversity of environments with characteristic fauna and flora. Open grass plains with scattered acacia bushes predominate.
DAY 4 NAIROBI – NAKURU (B/L/D)
Today after breakfast, check out and drive via Nyahururu with a brief stop at Thomson falls 237-foot cascade before you proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous as the home to thousands of lesser and greater flamingo. This park also provides sanctuary for Rothschild giraffe, rhino and leopard. Arrive early for check-in at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge followed by lunch. Afternoon enjoy a game drive.
DAY 5 NAKURU – MASAI MARA (B/L/D)
Today after breakfast, check out and drive via Narok to the Masai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Arrive early for check-in Mara Serena Lodge. Afternoon enjoy a game drive.
DAY 6 MASAI MARA ( B/L/D)
After early breakfast we leave for full day game drive in search of Big Five.

DAY 8 MASAI MARA – NAIROBI – ENTEBBE (B)
After breakfast transfer to Nairobi International airport to board your flight to Entebbe. On arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will be welcomed and transferred to hotel Boma Guest House.
DAY 9 ENTEBBE – JINJA (B/L/D)
After an early breakfast, you will start your journey to Jinja. You will enjoy a boat ride on the source of the Nile. The Nile is a major north-flowing river in north eastern Africa, regarded as the longest river in the world (6,853 km long). After the boat ride you will have a city tour of Jinja. Then we check in at The Haven Lodge.
DAY 10 RHINOS AND MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK (B/L/D)
After breakfast visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Here you shall have a walking Safari to the Southern Park to trek White Rhinos that have been re-introduced in Uganda. In the afternoon you will drive to the legendary Murchison Falls, from which the National park derives its name. On arrival check in at Murchison River Lodge.
DAY 11 MURCHISON FALLS (B/L/D)
Early morning enjoy the game drive. This is a beautiful drive across savannah, Borassus Palm Forest and grassland down to Lake Albert where the Albert Nile heads north. Drive in the open African savanna in search for Lions, Leopard, Hyena, Buffalo, Elephant, Jackson Hartebeest. Oribi, Waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, and enjoy spotting various Bird species such as the Secretary Bird, Black Chested Snake Eagle, Tawny and Marshal Eagles Carmine and Swallow Tailed Bee-Eaters and many more. In the afternoon, go for a boat ride up the Nile, to Murchison falls, Enjoy the spectacular falls. After you will hike to the top of the falls where the Nile squeezes through a 7 meter gap and at the bottom you will see huge Nile Crocodiles basking.
DAY 12 MURCHISON FALLS – KIBALE NATIONAL PARK (B/L/D)
After breakfast, you will drive to Kibale National Park, along the way you will pass many tea plantations. You have the opportunity to visit a tea plantation. On arrival Kibale check in at Primate Lodge.
DAY 13 CHIMPANZEE TRACKING, BIGODI SWAMP WALK (B/L/D)
Today you will track the most famous inhabitants of Kibale National Park, the chimpanzees. With over 1,450 individuals protected within the park, Kibale forest is home to the largest number of the endangered chimpanzees in Uganda, as well as the threatened red colobus monkey and the rare L’Hoest’s monkey. The forest has one of the highest diversity and density of primates in Africa totaling 13 species including the black and white colobus, blue monkey and grey-cheeked mangabey, red tailed monkey, bush babies and pottos. In the afternoon after tracking, you have the opportunity for a guided walk through the swamps of Bigodi. After the fascinating walk you have the choice of relaxing in the accommodation or community walk in a village nearby.
DAY 14 KIBALE – QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK (B/L/D)
After breakfast you will drive today to the world-famous Queen Elizabeth National Park, crossing the equator along the way. On arrival check in a Enganzi lodge. Evening enjoy your game drive.
DAY 15 QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK (B/L/D)
Have an Early Morning Game Drive. There are over 100 mammal species that include Lions, Hippos, Buffaloes, Leopard, Spotted Hyena, Elephants and the elusive Giant Forest Hog in this park. The Primates include Chimps, Black and White Colobus Monkeys, Blue, Black faced Red Colobus, and Red tailed monkeys and Olive Baboons. Return to the Lodge. In the afternoon, you shall have a boat ride on Kazinga Channel. Queen Elizabeth boasts one of the highest bio diversity ratings of any game park, from the open Savannah to Rain Forest, dense Papyrus Swamps and Crater Lakes to the vastness of Lake Edward.
DAY 16 QUEEN ELIZABETH – ENTEBBE (B/L)
After early breakfast enjoy your guided primate walk along Kyambura Gorge to look for habituated chimps through the gorge. After primate walk, drive to for Lunch at Kingfisher Lodge and later continue to Entebbe on the way we visit to Igongo Cultural village. On arrival check in at Boma Guest House.
DAY 17 ENTEBBE – UK (B)
The day is free for your own leisure until in the evening transfer to Entebbe International airport to board your flight to UK.
DAY 18 UK
Arrive home today.
