Day By Day Itinerary
DAY 1 UK – CALGARY
Fly to Calgary. On arrival Calgary you will be welcomed and transferred to hotel Westin. Overnight stay at hotel Westin – Calgary.
DAY 2 CALGARY – BANFF (B)

After breakfast, we start our day with Calgary Orientation tour Pass by Calgary Tower, Fort Calgary, Stampede Park, Canada Olympic Park, Heritage Park and downtown. Leaving the city we travel west on the Trans-Canada Highway into the rolling foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The majestic peaks of the Canadian Rockies soon fill the horizon as we arrive in Lake Banff. Check out the surreal rock formations near Tunnel Mountain Drive, shaped by thousands of years of wind and rain. Head next to the Banff Gondola, gliding above the nearby peaks near town, as you enjoy the incredible views on the ride up. Once you reach the top, take some time to visit the boardwalk and the 360-degree observation deck for more panoramas of the stunning collection of peaks nearby. Then continue to Bow Falls, a gushing waterfall near town which offers great photo opportunities. Then check in at hotel Fox Suites.
DAY 3 BANNF – JASPER NATIONAL PARK – BANFF (B)

After breakfast we leave for Jasper national park. The Columbia Icefield, located in Jasper National Park, presents an awesome sight when first viewed from the IcefieldsParkway. It is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle and one of the most interesting and accessible icefields in North America. The Icefield covers an area of nearly 325 square kilometres and reaches a depth of 365 metres.(1200 feet) Your route is spectacular as you travel one of the most scenic highways in the world – the Icefield Parkway. Glacier-fed rivers and streams, majestic peaks, peaceful lakes and broad-reaching valleys combine to create not only a harmonious blend of scenic wonders for guests, but also a protected habitat for Canadian Rockies wildlife. At the Columbia Icefield Centre, time is provided for lunch and now for your Glacier Experience, an experienced guide takes you out onto the Athabasca Glacier. The scenic return trip makes an early evening arrival into Banff.
DAY 4 BANFF – LAKE LOUISE – LAKE MORAINE – BANFF (B)

After breakfast the morning is free for your leisure. This afternoon sightseeing tour will take you to the ‘Jewel of the Canadian Rockies’, Lake Louise and the world-renowned Moraine Lake. This trip will leave a lasting impression of your holiday to the Rockies. Accompanied by our interpretive guides you will be able to capture the magic of these two pristine settings.
DAY 5 BANNF – KAMLOOPS (B/L)

Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from Banff to Kamloops. Highlights include the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, the Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass and Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven. Evening Indian dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Kamloops.
DAY 6 KAMLOOPS – VANCOUVER (B/L)

Your rail adventure continues west towards Vancouver. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Arrive in Vancouver and transfer to your downtown hotel. Part of Vancouver’s appeal is the sheer beauty of its setting. Behind the sweep of its beaches soar high rise buildings. The city’s harbours and inlets are freckled with pleasure craft and ocean going vessels from around the world. To the north of Vancouver are inviting mountain parks, such as Grouse Mountain; to the south and east are the fertile farmlands of the Fraser River Valley. Then we check in at hotel Sheraton Wall Centre.
DAY 7 VANCOUVER (B)

After breakfast we take The Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain Tour takes you to the amazing temperate rainforest of Vancouver’s North Shore. This is your best option for a light adventure, half-day excursion into the stunning nature that surrounds the city. Stops include Capilano Fish Hatchery, Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain. CLIFFWALK is the newest attraction at Vancouver’s Capilano Suspension Bridge, this heart-stopping cliff-side journey takes guests through rainforest vegetation on a series of unobtrusive cantilevered and suspended walkways jutting out from the granite cliff face above Capilano River to previously unexplored areas of the park. Not for the faint of heart, it is high and narrow and, in some sections, glass (very strong glass) is all that separates guests from the canyon far below. DAY 8 VANCOUVER – ALASKA CRUISE (B/D)

After breakfast transfer to Vancouver cruise terminal where you board your ship. Overnight on Holland America ms Volendam.

DAY 9 INSIDE PASSAGE (CRUISING) (B/L/D)
You’ll sail beyond the Inside Passage into the more protected Alaska Inside Passage, a complex labyrinth of fjords and bays where whales and sea lions find refuge during the summer months.
DAY 10 ICY STRAIT (CRUISING) (B/L/D)
Tendered 15:00 – 22:00
Go whale watching, learn Tinglit tribal customs, buy arts-and-crafts gifts, or fly high above Port Frederick on a 1.6km long zip-rider. Later, tuck into the best ever halibut and chips on the cookhouse deck of historic Hoonah Packing Company cannery.
DAY 11 HUBBARD GLACIER (CRUISING)(B/L/D)

Cruising 10:30 – 14:30
Hubbard Glacier is the largest calving glacier on the North American continent. The glacier routinely calves off icebergs as high as 10-story buildings, sending massive blocks of ice into the sea every few minutes.
DAY 12 JUNEAU – ALASKA (B/L/D)

Docked 07:30 – 20:00
Some sightseeing is best from above. View the majestic Mendenhall Glacier from the East Glacier Loop Trail, or sail 1,800ft aloft via gondola to Mount Roberts. The fresh air’s sure to whet your appetite so try out the local treat – crisp crab cakes.
DAY 13 KETCHIKAN – ALASKA (B/L/D)
Docked 14:00 – 20:30
Experience Eden firsthand. Kayak tranquil saltwater fjords fringed by ancient forests, keeping an eye out for black bear and playful porpoise. Tour the great outdoors by foot or bike, or whiz above ocean shores and never-ending forests by zipline.
DAY 14 INSIDE PASSAGE (CRUISING)(B/L/D)
