Iceland is full of amazing spots that look out of this world. It is a lot to see each time one travels, in big waterfalls to icy glaciers and hot springs. Reykjavik, the capital, is a good place to start with shops, cafes, museums and colourful streets. A lot of tourists then go on to the Golden Circle to enjoy so famous places as the Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir hot springs and Pingvellir National Park. You are able to go down to the south coast for black sand beaches and strong waterfalls. In the north, it's likely to be peaceful towns, and many opportunities to see the Northern Lights in the winter. Vatnajokull National Park is famous for glacier walks and hiking. Iceland is famous for its natural wonders like lagoons, lava fields and mountain scenery. All over is different, peaceful and unique and Iceland is a wonderful destination for UK travellers that love nature and open space.
