The Golden Circle. The Golden Circle is a collection of three of Iceland’s most iconic attractions - Pingvellir, the site of the ancient Icelandic parliament, the Great Geyser(Geysir), which was the first geyser to be described in a printed source, and Gullfoss, a huge roaring waterfall that surges through a dramatic crevasse in the canyon of the Olfusa river in southwest Iceland. The Golden Circle route takes you from the capital around each attraction in a drivable loop that can be completed in a day and at any time.
